If you were one of the 10,000 attendees at the Shoptalk Retail Tradeshow in Las Vegas (March 2022), then you may have had a chance to experience Acquire Digital's wayfinding technology, called the Acquire Wayfinder. This case study will discuss how our technology was deployed and what kind of results we were able to achieve.
The Client
The annual Shoptalk conferences bring together individuals and companies who are reshaping how consumers discover, shop for & buy.
At this event they provide a platform to speak with large retailers or branded manufacturers as well as start-ups, tech firms, investors, media analysts etc...to learn from each other's experiences while also collaborating on new ideas that could evolve into industry changes over time!
The Problem
Acquire Digital was approached by Shoptalk (a brand of Hyve Group) to provide a wayfinding solution that would help attendees navigate the tradeshow floor, find exhibitor booths, see the events schedule, and notice key sponsors. With over 250 exhibitors and four different stages, the task was daunting, but we were up for the challenge.
Shoptalk really wanted to enhance the overall tradeshow experience with innovation at its core. It is also worth noting that this is not the first time Shoptalk has chosen to deploy Acquire Digital’s wayfinding technology at one of their Tradeshows. Shoptalk were over the moon with what we did for them at their Groceryshop tradeshow in late 2021, that they wanted to strengthen the relationship further by opting for an upgraded wayfinding solution for this year’s Shoptalk Retail Tradeshow.
Our Solution
Who better to do it than us, Acquire Digital, with our industry-leading Wayfinding and Digital Signage software? In collaboration with Freeman we deployed a total of nine 55” interactive kiosks throughout the tradeshow floor and integrated our wayfinding technology with the Shoptalk mobile app. Attendees were then able to use the app to see a map of the floor plan and find out where they needed to go with ease.
What’s more is, we used the main menu feature to really showcase the event sponsors by prominently displaying their logos on the screens, giving them excellent exposure with the large crowds that attended the Tradeshow.
