The Problem

JLL Retail wanted to provide a world-class visitor experience to improve the visitor, retailers, and mall experience.JLL Retail wanted to improve the overall visitor experience at the Galleria Fort Lauderdale Mall. This included enhancing the Digital Directory and Wayfinding technology to provide interactive and engaging content, advertisements, and information on events and offers. The goal was to create a solution that went beyond simple wayfinding and offered visitors a dynamic and engaging experience.



Our Solution

Acquire Digital, in partnership with Gable, used their highly configurable UI/UX system to create a customized 3D Wayfinding and Digital Directory solution for the Galleria Fort Lauderdale mall. The Wayfinder was fully integrated with existing data and CMS, resulting in a fully interactive, live 3D map with pinch and zoom facilities.The Wayfinder also allows shoppers to send directions directly to their mobile device via a QR code, NFC tag, or text message. This feature helps visitors navigate public spaces like never before, making it easy for them to locate brands, discover deals, and send routes directly to their mobile devices.



The Process

The 3D Wayfinding and Digital Directory solution offers several features to enhance the visitor experience, including multi-touch pinch & zoom, and several different destination choice methods. The map allows users to touch any store to obtain useful information, with turn-by-turn directions of the best route/s to a selected destination. Shoppers have the option to send their chosen route to their mobile device by scanning a QR code, activating a built-in NRF tag, or sending via SMS.



Outcomes

The successful rollout of the 3D Wayfinding and Digital Directory solution has resulted in an enhanced visitor experience at the Galleria Fort Lauderdale mall. Shoppers can now locate brands, discover deals, and send routes directly to their mobile devices fast and effectively. The solution has opened up new opportunities for gamification, advertisement, brand interaction, and ROI, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
