Acquire Wayfinder CMS - A Smoother Way to Manage Complex Spaces
Aug 19, 2025
Anyone who’s managed a large wayfinding project knows the routine: pages that crawl when loading, projects that need constant refreshing to check if changes went live, tools that feel like they were designed for developers rather than the people actually keeping spaces running.
That friction builds up. Small delays turn into wasted hours, and small errors turn into confusing experiences for end users.
We rebuilt our Wayfinder CMS to tackle that head on.
The new CMS, rebuilt on Vue 3, feels faster the moment you log in. Pages open instantly, even when you’re working with hundreds of destinations. Publishing no longer leaves you wondering if the changes went through, you see the status update in real time. And with local caching redesigned, data loads are smoother and more reliable across the board.
But speed is only part of the story. We’ve also introduced tools that cut down on the trial and error of managing projects. Project Health Checks now flag routing issues before you publish, saving you from the painful cycle of discovering broken links after the fact. The Map Editor has been completely reworked so you can search destinations, resize panels, or toggle amenities and devices without digging through menus. Even something as simple as geolocation has been simplified; add an address, and the coordinates are set automatically.
We’ve also focused on making the platform easier to live with day to day. Keyboard shortcuts help you move faster, and activity logs give you a clear record of what’s changed. Navigation is more consistent, naming is clearer, and every part of the interface is designed to be more forgiving; whether that’s warning you about oversized logos, flagging unsaved changes, or simply giving you a dark mode for those long shifts.
This Wayfinder CMS upgrade isn’t about adding more bells and whistles. It’s about removing the friction that makes managing large spaces harder than it needs to be. Less waiting. Less guessing. Less fighting with the system.
For operators in airports, campuses, retail destinations, and the like, that means projects that run more smoothly and spaces that stay up to date without the headaches.
