Innovative Custom Endless Aisle Digital Signage for Virgin Media Retail Store

The Problem

The challenge for us was to redesign their flagship store based in Westfield Shopping Centre, London, to utilize technology and innovation to promote their products and services.

Our Solution

This Virgin Media store located in the Westfield Shopping Centre, London, utilizes eight different digital signage applications each designed, created, and developed by the Acquire Digital team.

Built like a home-away-from-home the store employs digital applications to encourage customers to watch a movie, browse the web, or play games. All of the digital content, including films, animation, and graphic content was designed by our very own in-house content creation team.

Made up of 2 portrait digital screens the store’s front door is connected to a motion sensor. The door animates on detecting movement to reveal creatures and special guests including Virgin Media’s brand ambassador Mo Farah who waves you inside.

This giant point of sale interactive touch screen is made up of 4 55″ portrait screens and allows customers to browse through mobile phone handsets. The Acquire team specifically developed a web-based CMS system for the mobile wall, enabling staff to make instant changes and updates to on-screen content.
